With the western garb, bright red lips, and the sultry sound, she captures the essence of Patsy Cline.
When I was a little girl the best time of my life was sitting at the breakfast table with my Grandpa listening to the oldies country station on the radio. He and I would sing along to his favorites like Loretta Lynn, Hank Williams and of course Patsy Cline. I think that is where it all began.

I have been performing on stage since I was fifteen years old, In High school plays and Choir. After High School I was introduced to the group Kitchener Waterloo Musical Productions which brought the opportunity to perform on the great stage at the Center in the Square. There I was grateful to receive lead roles in such musicals as Oliver as Nancy, Anne of Green Gables as Marilla Cuthburt, and  Sussical as the Mayors Wife. Now I have found my Role of a life time, to take audiences back in time when the Great Patsy Cline captured audiences with her distinct sound and power of emotion, so watch our upcoming show

Salute to the Superstars is pleased to announce the addition of Tom Carroll performing his breath-taking tribute to the legendary Buddy Holly. Although Buddy has passed on, his music will never die (as immortalized by Don McLean’s song – “AMERICIAN PIE” - “The Day that Music Died”), referring to the day that Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and the Big Bopper died in a plane crash. In fact, in 2004, Rolling Stone ranked Holly #13 among “The Fifty Greatest Artists of All Time”.

Tom grew up in a house full of Buddy Holly records so Buddy’s music was engraved in him at a very young age. Throughout the years, Tom has performed many Buddy Holly songs in the various bands that he has been a part of. He still is a member of a Rock & Roll group called the “Viceroys” that perform 50’s and 60’s music.

Tom’s focus on High Energy is exemplified by his desire for impact exercise – In 2008 he achieved his BLACK BELT in Karate after years of training.

He has also performed in Nashville at Broadway Music Hall and the popular Tootsie’s. Bob’s music has been most influenced by none other than Waylon Jennings.

Bob maintains an up to date repertoire of Waylon's music and currently performs most songs ever released by him. Since Waylon's untimely death in February 2002, Bob has had an inner desire (and destiny) to focus exclusively on preserving to eternity the music of his idol. He has concentrated on following the recommendations of his many fans by perfecting a Legends Waylon Jennings tribute show; and, has done so with his usual success. When you look at Bob on stage, you think immediately of Waylon. When you hear Bob sing Waylon’s music and close your eyes, you are immediately positioned in the midst of fans at any one of the late and great performer's concerts. Bob, like Waylon, sings with a style that seems to come from the soul and reflects both the joy and the pain of a man who has experienced each. The keen understanding of the moods and sounds of the common people, of which he considers himself a part, shines through on stage and off.

Toby Keith

Toby Keith
Mike Evans’ tribute to Toby Keith is an honest and energetic portrayal of this Country Superstar’s love of his life in music. With a repertoire of over 40 of Toby’s hits from the last 15 years, Mike custom tailors each show to fit the venue and anticipated audience. Crowd participation is encouraged and welcomed, whether it be slow dancing to Toby’s romantic love songs or raising a glass and singing along with some of the bawdier ballads of the wilder side of life.

From Shoulda Been A Cowboy to I Love This Bar, As Good As I Once Was, and High Maintenance Woman, Mike nails the look, sound, and character of his tribute like no other. His representation of Toby’s voice has been described as “seemingly effortless” and “completely believable”. But not content with just sounding right, Mike continually works on costuming and showmanship to add to every performance. And with each release of a new album or single, he’s quick to learn Toby’s latest hits to be able to satisfy any request for any encore or “special” song.

Mike has fronted a few area bands over the years and still loves to sit in vocally or on harp with a few now and then when he bumps into them at local bars. He was even invited to sing the National Anthem at the Shrine Circus in Detroit this year.

This performer’s experience in Casinos and clubs throughout the Western states and other venues in the Midwest and Canada shines through in each and every show. Let your crowd feel like the last person who said, “…it was just like the last time we went to see Toby...”

George Strait

George Strait
Salute to the Superstars proudly presents Mr. Larry Turner performing his outstanding tribute to George Strait.

Larry Turner is a singer who has performed professionally since 1976. His career started in gospel music as a soloist and also as lead singer for "The Lad's" quartet. In the early 1990's Precious Moments contacted him to start and produce a music show for the Precious Moments Chapel in Carthage, MO. He served in that capacity for 11 years. During that time he had the priviledge to meet George Strait's father and was given the highest approval when he was told that he had a strong resemblance to his son. While he & his wife, Beverly, were on vacation in Las Vegas, they saw Legends in Concert and the seed was planted. The next hurdle to face was learning to sing country, since his background was in gospel. His work has been paying off, as he has been met with rave reviews. The Laughlin Nevada Entertainer magazine has written "by all counts, the man portraying "King George" does him justice." He has also been designated as "the best George Strait tribute artist in the country."

Larry feels that it is truly an honor to impersonate such a legend as George Strait. George has been performing for over twenty-five years and has a record 57 number one country singles. He was recently inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame and in 2008 was named "Artist of the Decade." Some of his classics are, " All My Exes Live In Texas", "Amarillo By Morning", "The Chair." He continues to turn out hits, and shows no signs of slowing down.
